From the misery loves company file: I went to my ophthalmologist last week for my annual eye exam. He had been "watchfully waiting" on the progress of cataracts for several years. Well, my time has come. Cataract surgery on both eyes (one at a time). Yippee! Some good news, also. There was no sign of diabetes in my eyes. I always worry about that.
