Bug, don't blame you for feeling a bit frustrated. But you gotta look at this in perspective. One analyst downgrades CUBE, and only to "long term buy," not to hold, sell, whatever. Maybe he listens to the conference call, interprets that most of the big action will occur second half 1998 (fair enough), and to him, that sounds a little long term. You say that "under normal terms" CUBE should be rebounding now, what with announced wins, potential wins, positive outlook--maybe that's true. But these are not normal terms. CUBE is a bit of a technical/psychological nightmare: lots of bad memories, and those relentless shorts. And the overall market's been choppy at best and still suffering from asian flu. So this analyst and a bunch of other investors want to wait for DVD--and the entire digital revolution--to really get under way. Not everyone knows--as you do, as this thread does--that this revolution is a certainty, that in fact it is already happening. So we can take this minor hit today, and wait for better days, right?
