I feel that the progressive billionaire Bloomberg is sincerely trying to beat Trump and the cult of the current Republican tribe that is taking the USA and the planet to an abyss.

Otherwise he would have run as an independent. He did the right thing. As a rule, I welcome and advocate multiple parties; but not in this case after we experienced 2016. We learned a short-term lesson.

Of course Mayor Bloomberg's brand has been smeared from the less moderate left and the cult right, same as 2016 Hillary Clinton, 2008 Obama, 2004 John Kerry, and 2000 Al Gore.

Obviously Obama won -- running as a moderate, regulated-free-market, pro-hope, pro-choice liberal who could get something done with Washington. (No thanks go to unprecedented partisan obstructionist Mitch McConnell.)

I welcome Bloomberg's voice to the race.

May he or somebody else win me over.

I don't know why anyone would not wait to decide which Democratic candidate they support. Really. keeping my mind open.
