V.F. Corp makes a run for Golden Goose

V.F. Corp (NYSE: VFC) is among the bidders for Golden Goose, according to Reuters.

Sources indicate the company is competing with private-equity firms Permira and Advent for the Italian shoe brand valued at ~€1.4B.

Golden Goose is taking bids until the middle part of December.

Golden Goose is owned by Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG).

Shares of VFC are down 1.09% in premarket action to $88.08.
