Hello Perry,

First it wasn't my definition, it was Ira's or another poster's. In my opinion the 'float' is 28 million shares. Of that, approximtely 60% is held by insiders. That's my take on it. When I compare FAMH to other companies that makes comparisons valid. Otherwise, as you note,
the float would constantly change. The only time I consider "closely
held" shares as outside the float is if they're restricted (504's, etc.). I believe the 17-18M closely held FAMH shares are free trading. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I like your last point, however. Wouldn't it be great if there were no MMs in the way performing unnatural acts so true supply/demand dynamics could determine stock price. I've been told that it works that way on the VSE, but I don't know if I believe.
