On my one and only root canal, I was in some pain. My dentist (he's very good) said he wasn't going to make me wait until I could get in to an Endodontist in pain. So he initiated the root canal himself to the point that he removed the nerve. I was no longer in pain and could wait to see the Endodontist to finish up the root canal.

Yes, I like this dentist a lot!
