tanks wharf rat.
we NOW have a pretty good look at the most likely winner of the Greta ocean crossing contest #2
Greta's own ETA is 3 Dec, 8-10 AM GMT
here are our guesses again...
Greta's landing in Lisbon aboard La Vagabonde:
Crocodile = 2 Dec, 2019 @ 6:30 AM Local Time (Wherever she makes landfall) Cautious_Optimist = December 2, 10 PM PST (equal to 6 AM GMT december 3rd) Mannie = Dec. 4 @ 4:44 pm local (Wherever she makes landfall) elpolvo = 5 Dec, 2019 (4:20 PM on the apple watches of the people she greets when she lands) The Black Swan = 5 Dec, 2019 - 16:25 local time at landfall :) ;) abuelita = december 6th, 12:01 a.m. Local Time (Wherever she makes landfall) Ron = 6 Dec, 2019 @ 10 AM (GMT+1 - Local time in Spain) (equal to 9 AM GMT) Wharf Rat = 7 Dec, 2019 (7 AM on the apple watches of the people she greets when she lands) Cactus Jack = december 6th, @ 11:27 PM, PST (equal to 7:27 AM GMT december 7th)
After watching that crossing I don't know that Greta realizes it, but she just experienced a brilliant job of sailing across the Atlantic in the NOW. Every decision on board regarding weather, current and course was professionally perfect... WoW!
Nikki gets the credit for that, but Riley & Elayna are no longer amateurs and deserve some feathers in their caps too for what they learned.
We'll wait a few more hours before crowning our KING Cautious_Optimist.
Here's the current location of La Vagabonde (Scoll down to Follow Us In Real Time)
