The 2020 election will be decided by who can turnout the greatest number of the ignorant and the stupid. In 2016 all of the ignorant and stupid who favored Trump turned out, but the ignorant and the stupid on the Democratic side decided that Hillary wasn't good enough for them so they stayed home.

So for now, it is President Chump against the 15 dwarfs plus Bloomberg. If the ignorant and stupid on the Democratic side decide that they don't like the Democratic candidate then Chump will likely win again. While Chump has lost most of the educated voters, there aren't enough of them to swing the election. The future of the world will likely be once again determined by the clueless.

My guess is that Chump will drive turnout on both sides, but that there are more latent votes on the Democratic side that can swing the election.
