tru·ism - a statement that is obviously true and says nothing new or interesting

=====

"If we simply accepted bad actors assertions of innocence on face value as true until proven otherwise... always assuming their good faith... no one would ever be found guilty." [Ya think?]

"behavior of bad actors in justifying egregious behavior... using the law to provide the veneer of legality... and legitimacy." [Wait, people do something for one reason but claim they did it for another? Stop the presses.]

I could go on, but hopefully you get the point of how just stating the obvious does not advance the discussion in any substantive way.

Both Dave and I have tried our best to explain to you, and anyone following along, that CDA 230 is settled law. Specifically: "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider". If you, or anyone else, would like to cite specific examples of how a given entity is violating CDA 230, go for it. Otherwise, I think it's time to move on.
