First of all, thanks for buying WDC drives!!! We need every penny!! < If sombody could please check into the latest pricees on Pricewatch. I think last time we were at $245 for the WDC 6.4 IDE. Thanks a lot.> As of today, the lowest price for 6.4 belongs to Quantum Big Foot @ $229.00/PC. WDC is still sitting at $247/PC, and Maxtor is at $253.00/PC. I think it is not the Koreans who are brings down the ASPs, but the Americans who are tearing each other apart for orders. This sucks, and has to stop soon or later, most probably later. Not a pretty picture. I would welcome trading my worthless WDC shares for some IBM shares. I pray that the rumors are correct!!!
