Let's begin with the basics. The US government gave corporations trillion dollar deficits for the foreseeable future. What did CEOs do with these tax cuts? They took the money and bought back stock. They didn't spend it on 5G or other forms of R&D. So, when someone tells us x, y, and z, we have to ask them to prove what they say. You can't do that but you know I can prove they spent our money (the debt) on stock buybacks.
