Yes, but nearly all new CD-R drives are CD-RW drives as
well. You can buy the HP internal CD-rewritable for
around 350-390 if you shop around. Prices are sure to
fall as these are the FIRST units out.

The CD-Rewritable CD media still is a bit expensive at
14 bucks a pop, but will get cheaper every day. It's
already over 5 times cheaper per megabyte than a Zip.

Within 12 months, every CD drive sold will be re-writable.
