I do not know what I see is danger, but might turn out to be serendipity

(1) I am positioned to welcome prospectively orphaned companies as they either get the boot or otherwise de-camp, or they hedge, to HK by way of 0388.HK (HKEX) Message 32448855 - a daily trading volume premised wager

(1-i) Take Alibaba finance.yahoo.com for example, its average daily trading volume on NYSE is ~15M shares and @ US$ 200 per share, US$ 3 billion

(1-ii) On the HKEX, Alibaba (9988.hk) finance.yahoo.com traded 18-34M shares. Call it 18M shares, at HK$ 200 (8:1 HK:US shares), and ~US$ 500M, representing volume newly created due to trade war, galactic hard-fork, universe-bifurcation

(1-iii) Average daily turnover of HKEX is ~ US$ 10B hkex.com.hk , and so 9988.hk represents a 5% increase to the commission flow (keeping it all broad-stroke and at simplest)

(2) There is much danger and opportunity ... scmp.com

Hong Kong changed its listing rules two years ago to lure more Chinese technology, biotechnology firms to the citySecondary listing could give mainland Chinese first chance to buy shares in some of China’s tech giants
