Carbite Golf Reports 10 Times Sales Growth Achieved in
First Half, 1996
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Carbite Golf Inc. is pleased to
report that its subsidiary, Carbite, Inc. of San Diego, has
achieved sales of $6.3 million US for the six months ending June
30, 1996, over 10 times the sales level for the six month period
in 1995 and more than 100 times the sales level for the six month
period in 1994.
The First Half, 1996 net income was $767,841 US, a vast
improvement over the First Half, 1995 net loss of $143,724 US.
Sales growth was mainly due to increased retail distribution.
As reported in a news release of September 26, 1996, Carbite Golf
Inc. has signed a letter of intent to acquire the remaining 49
percent interest in Viper Bite from Advanced Golf. The Viper Bite
financial statements through June 30, 1996 show a net profit of
$1.3 million US.
Carbite, Inc. of San Diego specializes in utilizing the newest
advances in powder metal technology to manufacture game
improvement golf equipment. Carbite also licenses the use of its
technology to Taylor Made Golf Co., Inc.
