Steve,

I was watching DIA today and noticed that the spread is almost always 1/16 or less. I think that's pretty favorable, no need to get fancy with your order trying to keep costs reasonable. I'm still trading SPY and I've gotten good fills for the most part. But I hate that uncertainty of placing a non marketable limit order when you want in or out. When the spread is 1/16 I don't fool around, but that seems to be the exception most of the time with SPY
