I don't think a sitting President should be engaging in political targeting using their powers. Obama did that in collusion with Hillary against Trump. He was clever in that he stayed above the fray and had his henchmen like Lynch do the dirty work on the tarmac with Bill Clinton, but the fact remains that the Obama Administration used their power to meddle in the election against Trump. That opened the door. The problem is Hillary was corrupt and the Bidens are corrupt. So where is the line? We want our DOJ investigating and prosecuting political corruption like the Clintons and Bidens engaged in with their pay for play schemes that enriched their families. The mistake Trump made was to do it himself, instead of instructing Barr to look into it. That's what makes this a bit murky. However, there's no crime here. After all, the Executive Branch is supposed to investigate and prosecute crimes, as well as execute the laws on the books.

So the Democrats have painted themselves in a corner with their never-ending witch hunt.
