Doug,, far from a done deal,IMHO. plus a rumour flew around that the Government won't allow it. I heard that the americans were heavy short our banks, with rumours last week that Soros was shorting them. I think a lot of desks were hooked good on these puppies,,,they're not anymore, <g>.. There is a law here that no one is allowed to own more then 10% of a bank, I think the big boys are perhaps challenging the rules, but it's hard to believe they did'nt check the waters first.
