Jim, I believe you are confusing realism with cynicism. It's easy to just sit back and say everyone is a crook with no moral fiber to his/her bone. Everyones in it for the money. Why waste are time and money with investigations. He is just a stooge working for the right wingers. It's much more difficult to really dig out the information and try and find people in public office you can have a certain amount of faith in. Is it idealistic or realistic to say "the Constitution and it's words have profoundly changed the world into a far better place". I believe both. It's easy to be a cynic. It takes no effort. That's why we have so many of them. Europe is a perfect example. A continent full of cynic's. We just don't understand why you Americans give a hoot about the President and who he boff's in the Oval office. Here we just wouldn't care. They don't care about allot of things. That's the main difference between the rest of the world and American's. The ones that do care all too often have given up at home, and elect instead to emigrate to the U.S. Around 1.4 million a year. Michael
