The cornerstone of the simpliest method that I employ is this Ben... a series of 3 simple moving averages of differing lengths, so that I can be a trend follower. I don't get t'buy THEEE btm and I don't get t'sell THEEEE top... ....But I do get to take my profitable slice outta das mitte... When the shortest timeframe one crosses to the downside through the intermediate length timeframe, then heads up! When the shortest and the intermediate term crosses through the longest length timeframe, then head for the exits. This suggestion is a must in my mind, whether we are talking gold or pension fund switching between bonds and equities for example. That goes for those fancy KEOGH's as well as the plain Jane self-directed IRA... G/Luck and have a great weekend, ok? O/49r
