Less than 5% of Canada's land mass is arable. In comparison Denmark, Bangladesh and Ukraine have arable land more than ten times the percentage Canada has.

So where do most if not nearly all new immigrants to Canada end up?. In our major cities.

In the not too distant past, new immigrants to Canada were encouraged to settle in Canada's more northern less populated climes. Well that policy failed as those new immigrants immediately abandoned northern Canada and fled to the cities. And who can really blame them.

Paradoxically, Canada having the world's second largest land mass is over-populated.
