Guns & Butter policy peaked right around 1968. The Dow hit two peaks, I believe, in 1969 under Nixon. We are in a similar situation, "policy" wise. The major difference is the "huge" liquidity with low interest rates. The end will be nasty, but, the end may not be for 5-10 more years. For now the direction is UP.
