Ron,

The Republican Senators are, publicly at least, living in an alternate reality universe where facts are not real. Defending Trump for 3 years now has given them a lot of practice with this. I would hope that, at least privately, they realize how stupid these stances seem. But I wouldn’t count on this. Has the whole Republican Party been compromised by the Russians? Has Fox News interviews affected them so badly that they live in a world of talking points? And why isn’t the rest of the media calling them out constantly? Why does it have to be late night talk show comedians to be the ones holding these people feet to the fire?
