Not in the same way, for example, Clinton was. Clinton had committed a serious crime and the political hurdle was not overcome.
Trump did not commit a crime. And as I've pointed out, the political hurdle can't be overcome without a crime. Even though I agree with Lane it is technically possible to impeach without a crime, it would be utterly meaningless.
Clinton had committed a Very Serious Crime. A Terrible Crime.

He just abused his power by violating US constitution and requesting help from foreign country to interfere into our election.
It's not a crime at all. It's less than spitting on boardwalk, it's less than parking ticket.

What did President Trump deserved for violation of US Constitution? Of course, not impeachment, rather a promotion.
