Steve,

Re: PRDM's market: Since their products are desired by the communications industry, I think they have a huge potential relative to their size. They are a relatively tiny company (~$15 million gross last Q, I seem to recall). Re:keeping out the big gorilla competitors, that's a tougher question. I think the answer is that currently, they have the lead in hi speed, hi density SRAMs. To what degree their lead is proprietary and/or patent protected I am not able to recite in detail, although I think there is some protection there.

Re: IDTI - The only reason I am still in, is their new plant in Oregon. With their production capacity expansion coming on line, I think there is a potential for much greater eps with any sort of SRAM/logic market recovery. They appear to have gotten a little further down the expansion road than MU did. I agree though, that the next few months look a little scary. Its a wierd market. I'm starting to cringe every time I hear the DOW is UP. Techs have been a nearly perfect DOW inverse lately.

I hope we all look back at this someday, wearing our "I survived Rick Whittington" T-shirts.
