Fed funds rates collapsed because the economy collapsed prior to years before President Obama was elected and sworn in. Fed funds didn't fall once under Obama but fell twice under Trump even though he says he's growing the economy.

But then comes the second fact which destroys every republican argument. Where are the balanced budgets? Trillion-dollar deficits, falling interest rates and the Fed increasing its balance sheet to over $4 trillion are proof positive they fear another republican recession.
