One of the most difficult investments I ever made was to buy some AAPL
shares. That was back in 2014 and as the investment fates would have it,
it turned out just fine. However, from a value point of view I've been
wringing my hands the whole time. It does pay a dividend but the yield
isn't even as good at the 13 Week Treasury Coupon rate.
   Date Amount
 8-Feb-2019 $0.73/Sh
10-May-2019 $0.77/Sh
9-Aug-2019 $0.77/Sh
7-Nov-2019 $0.77/Sh

Price/Sales = 4.8
Price/Book = 13.8
Div Yield = 1.07%

I feel compelled with these valuation metrics to constrain the amount I
allow at risk with Apple, Inc. So, I've been selling into this strength in
2019. Late last year I was in accumulation mode.

If I'd been "Buy & Hold" this entire time I'd have made some more $$$$
but the risk adjusted returns haven't been bad doing the modest
inventory adjustments along the way. My cash position is now equal to
my total investment plus cash at the start in 2014, so in Las Vegas
terms I guess I'm now playing with the House's money.
