How much closer, it seems to me, all humanity would be if we had more common ground. A common morality would give us that but I don't see it coming from any of the world's religions right now. I'd prefer a "common ethic". "Morality" smacks far too much of sex and religion, rigid ideas about which have got us into far too much trouble in the past and the present.
