I think Iomega botched the cc. Did they have to mention
the $100M for advertising?

Here's more about how Compaq set themselves apart in the early
eighties: they hired Ogilvy and Mather, the best ad agency around,
and then spent an unheard of $10M in a single year on TV advertising.
At the end of that year, Compaq had become the third most visible
out of 150 computer companies, after IBM and Apple.

Of course, Iomega is already the most visible removable
storage company by far. So the TV advertising must be
designed to convince non-technical customers.
