Don't be surprised if Pelosi's strategy is to defer delivery of impeachment articles to the senate until after the DNC candidate is chosen, and just before the election campaign gets underway in earnest. This would be an attempt to tie Trump up in a trial instead of campaigning, and give the DNC candidate the left wing media impeachment talking points throughout the campaign. Mitch McConnell would have to immediately dismiss the trial if that is what happens.
