Board setup with P166

Try a 2.5X60mhz overclock. This will make your cpu run like a P200. From my recent experience it is best to stay away from 2x75 with sdram. The overclock above is only around 10% so it will probably be stable. Until you know the setup is stable rem out smartdrive in autoexec.bat. If you're using Win95 and the system locks up try a control alt del to stop the task. If no response reset. It's possible your system will come up in safe mode. If you're not prepared to make jumper changes to change the overclock I would have the guy who sets up test the system for at least 4hrs. You will get a 12 - 15% speed increase from the overclock so if system integrity is important don't join the speed phreaks like us.
