Re COWN Yes, Richardred. your point is well taken and I suppose that that's what that big dividend to holders of those "preferred" shares was all about: a self serving insider deal. To their credit, IR did call me back but didn't reach me so left a voice mail about it. I still have no idea who owns those shares and got that big payday or even how many preferred shares there are out there. Need to look further. I've taken a small position but probably won't get too much more than that. I am of the opinion that after such a long bull run in the market, there might not be too many values out there worth buying. As they say, "some stocks are cheap for a reason". I sure do appreciate the thoughts and ideas of you and the others on this board, though. Have a Happy Holiday all!
