Elmat, I agree with your post 100%. You notice I said "If " there is such a thing as Climate Change. China is only one region where the B/D is leveling off. S/A and many other regions not. The birth rate is still out pacing. It is true part of the problem is caused by longevity. And the human race is at its extremes of life length. The birth death ratio will balance out. However it used to be thought 47 was the average life span. Then it was raised into the 60's , Next 72 for men, recently the US is 78.3 and Japan over 83 years. As one country life span advances. Citizens of others pick up the habits and follow. Every country life is being extended not only because of better diets but because of medical break advancements. I know one cannot live forever. However preventing death premature to Old Age has a lot of room to grow yet. From my reading it is something not calculated into the projection. Like the recent testing of advanced non responding Bladder Cancer. Which was a death sentence at any age. Recent trials on 5 cases with just a single treatment turned the prognosis of the recipients from terminal to Cancer free in 360 days. Second trials and testing of the serum is about to begin on other cancers. The treatment is on the verge of granted commercial licensing. And is expected to be the worlds leading treatment for the disease. That is but one example. Alzheimer patients lives are being incredibly stretch with newer drugs. How ever I doubt it would work on Elroy. As patients first have to have a brain to treat. Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma 20 years ago a sure death now treatable to a full lifespan. There have just been break thru's on treating Multiple Myeloma extending life ten years and perhaps even a cure. Formerly it was a 3 year prognosis. I try to keep tabs on some of these labs developing serums and drugs make lucrative investments when bought out by Bristol /M, Pfizer or other majors They will pay in the Billions for the rights to their products if approved by the FDA.
