Kurt:

still lurking there. the thread has deteriorated a lot from the old days. Didn't you catch my post there last Fri? I was really proud of that one. URL for a column in the Boston Globe that called the INTC/MSFT/CPQ thing two or three days before it hit the NY Times. But it was ignored.

The SteveG/billc exchanges were fabulous.

In case you missed it PAIR is now the RADSL technology leader.
It's Falcon chip comes into full production now. Early by 2 quarters.
A single chip ASIC solution, it comes with splitterless capability built in, by far the lowest power consumption, and a high level of programmability. For lots of tech reasons the power consumption is very important to the telcos.

Still following WSTL though. Do you happen to know if they have any licensing in place with PAIR? Seems like everybody licenses everybody elses stuff in xDSL. Bell Atlantic seems to be holding firm to its WSTL commitments. That's good. TI/AMTX deal looks like it may help WSTL out too. And the DSLAM is coming right along. On the other side Alcatel is eating a lot of meat and potatoes these days.

Things look a lot better now than they did earlier in the week.
