These are all finer points. The key is
IOM missed the numbers and ZIP retail sales in
the U.S. slowed down. This created the
opinion that IOM's growth rate and margin will
come down. Thus the crash. However, I think
KE and management identified the problem:
DEMAND. This ad compaign starting with
the SuperBowl is going at the problem
head on. This is much more effective, IMO,
than just cut the prices and wait. That would
be going down the guter of Syquest. And it is last
think I want do see. These WS analysts are a
bunch of short sighted number cruchers with
no guts and no vision. IOM's management is not
play that loosing game.
