OK, let's do a little simple math here.
But first, let's delve into semantics, since twisting same seems to be a speciality of yours. You did NOT post the Zack's consensus for the next three quarters. You posted the Zack's consensus for the PAST quarter, and the next TWO quarters. If you're going to be picky about semantics, so can I.
I'm afraid I don't find a consensus estimate for 6/98 on my Zack's report. I suppose you must be looking at the super-secret Zack's report.
However, I do find the .51 for Mar98. I also see that the estimate for the year ending 6/98 is 2.53. So, fortunately, we can solve for the missing quarter, since we have a yearly consensus estimate and CREAF's fiscal year ends in June.
09/97 actual .74 12/97 actual .79 3/98 est .51 6/98 est ??? Not broken out on Zack's report ---- 2.04
Now, solving for 6/98...
2.53 - 2.04 ---- .49
Now, to be fair, the current Zack's report hasn't been updated for this quarter's actual results yet. Zack's consensus for 12/97 was .77. So, we need to plug that in instead of .79. That ups the concensus for 6/98 to .51.
(others with Zack's please verify.)
(Ahhh.... edited comment ... I DO see this in a different part of the Zack's report. It DOES say 0.40E. However, if you add up the figures across the row, they do not add up. The yearly estimate is .30 higher than the sum of the 4 quarters!)
In 1997, the third and fourth quarter came in with identical numbers. And here we have identical numbers again in the consensus. Doesn't look unusual. |
