Kreisler President and Chairman of the Board of KBF Pollution Management Inc., (Nasdaq: KBFP) announced today the appointment of James A. Aiello, Esq., as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Aiello, a member of KBF's Technical Advisory Committee, has been affiliated with the Company since January, 1996, in a number of capacities, including advising on domestic and international business growth opportunities. Mr. Aiello also serves on the Board of Directors of DGL International Inc., an international business management corporation headquartered in Walnut Creek, California. With over thirty years of diverse experience as a lawyer, government relations professional, and domestic and international businessman, Mr. Aiello brings a broad suite of management skills intended to be deployed to take KBF to the next level in its corporate development. Previously, Mr. Aiello was Vice President, Latin American Affairs, Ogden Yorkshire Water Company, Vice President Business Development, Ogden Projects, and Vice President, Government Affairs, Ogden Martin Systems. Before joining Ogden, Mr. Aiello held senior management positions with ABB Asea Brown Boveri, Inc., and Combustion Engineering Inc. Mr. Aiello's service in the public sector included stints as Deputy Attorney General, State of California, Assistant District Attorney, San Mateo County (California), and Chief of Staff, United States Representative William Royer (R-CA). Married to Dr. Helene S. Aiello, Director of Guidance, W. T. Woodson High School, Fairfax, Virginia, they have two grown children, James Anthony Aiello (Harvard '90) and Matthew Charles Aiello (Yale '93). Mr. Kreisler also announced the following appointments to the KBF Technical Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors. SETH C. HUNT Mr. Hunt is the president of Foremost Solutions, Inc., of Denver, Colorado. An educator initially, Mr. Hunt commenced a distinguished federal government career in 1963 with the United States Civil Service Commission, moving on to the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 1971, where he helped establish Region 8 of the then brand-new agency. After a four-year stint with the United States General Services Administration in the late 70's Mr. Hunt returned to the United States Environmental Protection Agency during the Reagan and Bush Administrations, holding senior positions in Washington, D.C., and Denver, Colorado. Most significantly, Mr. Hunt was Special Assistant to the Administrator of the EPA during which time he reorganized the EPA from top to bottom including all regions and national labs. He also served the valuable position of liaison between Presidential appointees at the EPA and its career civil service employees. Mr. Hunt founded Foremost Solutions in 1989, and continues to serve as its president. The company provides innovative and cost efficient methods of in situ bio-remediation for use on contaminated sites. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Tanknology Environmental Inc., Houston, Texas. Mr. Hunt's service on the Board of Tanknology arose from its purchase, from Mr. Hunt, of USTMAN Industries, an underground storage tank leak detection company which Mr. Hunt founded in 1990. THEODORE O. MEIGGS, PH.D. Doctor Meiggs is Vice President for Research and Development, Foremost Solutions, Inc. With a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry from San Jose State College, Dr. Meiggs has had a long and distinguished career in the public and private sectors developing and demonstrating innovative containment-removal techniques providing expert testimony in environmental litigation of national significance planning, conducting and managing environmental investigations of air, water, pesticide, toxics and hazardous waste pollution problems throughout the United States serving on agencies which developed national and international environmental measurements and testing protocols and managing commercial and government laboratories, including the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Contract Laboratory Program. The latter program served the EPA's Superfund activities. During this period, Dr. Meiggs helped develop a number of federal hazardous waste testing methods. Of special importance is Dr. Meiggs' nine years of service as Assistant Director for the National Enforcement Investigations Center at the EPA, which provided all technical support for the EPA's Superfund enforcement activities nationwide. In addition to his duties at Foremost Solutions, Inc., Dr. Meiggs is a principal in Meiggs Environmental Consultants and Profinder, Inc. a firm providing technical and litigation support for industrial and government clients regarding environmental regulatory compliance as well as a national network to locate expert witnesses for litigation support. In a joint statement, Mr. Hunt and Dr. Meiggs stated, "We are pleased with the opportunity to work with the KBF Board and to assist KBF in gaining widespread approval of its innovative treatment technologies and expanding its markets both nationally and internationally." Mr. Kreisler also announced the resignation of Ms. Agnes A. Gara from the Technical Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors.
