Of course, it is not fun, Blasher. I'd much rather eat lasagna, beef bonacinni (filet mignon stuffed with gorgonzola), pizza, meatballs and spaghetti. But I had no choice but to go healthy. Eating is a job that I do to stay healthy. I have fun in other areas, making love, making money, exchanging ideas ( even if we disagree), jogging, helping others, friendship and family. If I go back to what I use to eat, I will become prediabetic and possibly diabetic. In life we have to make sacrifices sometimes. At least, I can walk, talk, think and make love. I can never eat my favourite foods again. That's my sacrifice for living a longer, healthy life. I eat to live now. I have accepted it. I have no choice, like the person who walks with a cane or walker. And I am not complaining. I am one of the lucky ones without a toe being amputated or getting glaucoma.

Life is good without my favorite foods.
