Hi UE, FA on brooks is very strong, but they are in a transition from lower growth/margin to higher growth/margin business. It will take 2020 to prove out the wisdom of the move. No doubt that Brks has pulled FOUR BAGGER IN THE LAST 24 MONTHS AND THE MUTUAL FUND MANAGERS ARE TAKING SOME PROFITS AT YEAR END. These are the stocks that make bonuses happen. I'm a longer term buy and holder on this one. If we get a nice dip, I'll gladly add to and let this one run. Their cold storage for pharma and very cold storage for biological science is innovative and destructive technology that no one can compare to. The genewhiz acquisition will grow revenue within 12 months to equal the lower growth cryo unit that they owned and grew for years. Ceo Schwartz ( a doctor) is one of the true leader types with financial discipline and a very sharp future vision. Given a decade, he'll build Brooks into a pharma like firm that has huge revenue and margins with a moat so wide no one will catch them. The life sciences takes the cycles out of the semi business. I have a hunch that 2020 will be good for both semi's and life sciences. I'm putting this one in a drawer and forgetting about it - unless it dips, then I'll add 5 % or so. Too expensive now. It's paying me 4% on a dividend to cost basis. More than happy to clip the coupon. Bob Bob
