..."how does one combat a president that is TOTALLY lacking in morals and will do anything, legal or otherwise, to keep his ass out of prison"...

You do what Nancy Pelosi is doing. You goad him until he totally cracks and loses it.

More and more, Trump's tweets are becoming unhinged. It won't be long now.

Not right now. Not as long as public opinion doesn't turn on them. But when it does, they cannot defend their stances for Trump.

Public opinion is the key and I believe that was Pelosi's strategy all along. Turn public opinion.

1) She didn't want an impeachment at all until the public opinion asked for the inquiry.

2) She didn't ask for an impeachment inquiry vote until the Republicans went all in, saying she didn't have the votes,

3) She didn't allow public hearings until the Republicans were forced to claim she never would,

4) She didn't take an impeachment vote until the Republicans claimed she was losing Democrat support and could not pull it off.

5) And now she is holding off on delivering the articles, as the Republicans claim she is afraid to deliver them and does not have the support to do so.

Each time, the Republicans have ended up with egg on their faces. Each time Pelosi triumphed.

I suspect she will triumph again, as she builds public support and makes the Republicans look like the whiny, crying babies they are.

Do they not realize how many people have left the Republican party? 35% in 2001 & 42% in 2018 identify as Independents and Rs have fallen from 35% to 26% in the same time frame per a Gallup poll.
