Tradeable warrants are unlike options in three ways - 1. they are listed on the same exchanges as stocks, so are easy to put into quotes tables, for ease of contest operation, 2. most are much more liquid than options, and 3. they tend to last longer than options - you'd need an expiration date past 31dec2020 at the very least

ssl.wt - my favourite wts wouldn't work for this reason, exp date is 03nov20, same day as US presidencial election ... about which i've wondered for some time - is that some kind of message, or what -g-

They're legitimate picks imho, a contest like this is sort of a lottery ticket choice, most are looking for maximum leverage and warrants give that ... if i had my druthers about a rule change, i'd like more than one entrant to be able to pick any particular ticker, make it more like real life ... maybe, i dunno, there's a lot to be said for tradition as well

[actually i'm just stalling, juggling a few picks in what passes for the mind this sunday night]
