Nikita/abacan

Nikita, so far your friend looks like a genius! From what I've been hearing, Abacan can indeed be another Triton. The only con is that Abacan isn't as diversified as Triton, i.e., Abacan's holdings so far are limited to West Africa, primarily Nigeria. As long as the government of Nigeria is stable, however, Abacan should kick some serious butt. Nonetheless, Abacan will diversify as it grows. It has already started diversifying when it acquired, earlier this year, properties in Benin and in the Ivory Coast.

I too am long on Abacan and have no intentions of bailing out at these levels, even with the recent run-up. Considering that news about the 309 field is due out soon, betting against Abacan right now could be a huge mistake.

Good luck and let me know if you hear anything.
