Fortunately I went to a church school for 12 years. I hated it at the time, but I realize my parents did the right thing although I struggled when I got to college.

I am married to a Kindergarten Public School teacher. She went to public school for 12 years. She and I had lively debates about whether our children would go to public school or not.

They went with her to the elementary school that she taught at until the 5th grade.

She looked at me and said over her dead body would she allow them to go to public school starting in the 6th grade.

So I gladly pay the 18,000 a year to send them to a Church School now.

I am hoping that when they get to College they will be strong enough to resist the indoctrination.

Right now I only have a few colleges I will even consider paying for.

The only people I know that home-school are mostly religious motivated. I don't know a single person who chooses to home-school because it is a better education.

Home schooled kids are starting to be discriminated against in college admissions. Most have to attend community college before they are admitted to university.
