You are mixing apples and oranges.. (wrt my intent) .... as we are further and further pushed into closer quarters.. not due to lack of space,,, but by government policy.... these things matter... in the environment we inhabit... period.. It is sad that house on fire and CO2 have become such easy rally points to hide the real destruction on the planet.. Take a look at how cities are expanding and get back to me if you really buy that governments are worried about CC.. We are crapping in our own homes (take it as a metaphor).. and the homes are getting smaller.. but the swamp grows... (Not Mr. Trump's Swamp) renewable energy .. especially from the sun.. should be implemented on a distributed basis.. we should spread out.. we are creating more problems than ever with cities... yet we flock to cities.. build bigger grids that waste energy... just by their nature... Society is ( and economy ESPECIALLY) built on CONSUMPTION... huge ponzi scheme... Lucky for all of us that will be gone within a few decades..
