Mike,

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that read "God MUST love stupid people because there are so many of them".

You are talking about immoral business practices here being performed by what would be stupid people. I don't think the research labs have the answer. If they did then they would be able to sell it for a $MM or two and reinvest that money into the company that they sold the information to and walk away with more than their greedy little hearts desired. They would be out there staking the land and taking the metals out for themselves if they had the answers. At least from my perspective.

I think they are going to the wrong people. I work in electronics and it doesn't much matter what the piece of equipment is that I am fixing because I took on the theory from the nuclear power field that I learned. That theory states that trons are trons. It doesn't matter whether they are electrons, nuetrons or positrons. They are always the same no matter where you go or what you do to them. This holds true in chemistry as well. It just doesn't matter. Chemistry is chemistry. They should be able to walk into the office of any master chemist and walk out with an answer. That is what I would do if I had a detailed report and analysis of the situation. That should resolve the chemistry problem. Then comes the problem of economics. They then take the chemistry report to an Electromechanical engineering firm and say HERE make me the least expensive mining process that you can come up with. Hell, I'll even design the automation for them. Perform a calculation on the costs and voila you know if it is economical or not. Or you find a way to concentrate the mineralization in a way that it would be economical. No magic, no games, no wasted money.

Like I said before, I guess I just don't understand or maybe I am one of those stupid people that I mentioned before because it just seems academic to me.

Chuck
