Hi Black Swan,

In 1955 my parents planted 120 acres of white and red pines - plantation style.

I have purchased them from the estate. In 2004 I managed the third thinning of the trees -some for log cabins.

I bought 16 adjacent acres and will plant food plots next year.

Have hunted deer there more lately.

Interesting to see volunteer generations of trees and ground cover. Also turkey grouse and an occasional fisher to trap.
