49--nice expose. Am in agreement with ECU. It won't happen. You mention the wide dispersement of US$. What I sense may be happening with respect to US greenbacks is the transition to the new bills may render old bills worthless. Possibly the Treasury may announce at some point in the future a window of opportunity to turn in old bills. When the window closes they become worthless. This new currency with the holograms, magnetic strip, etc. is not implemented simply to discourage counterfeiters. From what I understand it can be traced as to it's whereabouts.
