ameriKa, jury, judge, executioner may not work for the rest of the world Problem is that is not a fair assessment of Americans.. Both in the US and up here in Canada the governments which are supposed to be the peoples' representatives have taken on a mind and will of their own.. and exist for their own greater glory.. We get governments that we do not deserve even if we voted for them... The system is rigged and we are the pawns.. we are pitted against each other and all is becoming binary.. the evil duality we are stuck in.. like two opposing singularities.. If governments did their jobs and focused on the few necessary things like infrastructure, national DEFENSE, and equality of OPPORTUNITY not OUTCOMES... we'd all get along a lot better... and the fringe(s) would remain on the fringe instead of infecting the majority of regular descent folks with fears and worries.. I know boatloads of very nice Americans.. Growing up in Québec meant Vermont, Maine and upstate New York were just like home.. similar names, family histories local products.. When I moved to Toronto 35 years ago it was like a foreign country to me... Frankly I think what our governments have turned into should be a good lesson on the future of AI and make us very vigilant on that front also..
