We spent a trillion bucks at the direction of Obama. Romer said by enacting the stimulus, unemployment would stay below 8pct. It blew through the following money and didn’t see 8pct again for nearly four years. Romer announced the “stimulative effect” was over in mid 2011. That is, it did nothing.

Claiming fiscal stimulus “works” in the face of that test case is laughable. Even Obama was making jokes about it before it was over.
