Henry,

It is obvious that your experience exceeds mine. Alot of people are afraid to put their thoughts out because they are afraid to look foolish or be wrong. As I am sure you can tell I have no problem with either. It speeds the learning process quite nicely, however I will disagree with having a producing mine being a necessity for forward sales although a mine probably does have to be in place. LLL announced on 8/11/97 that they entered into an agreement with Gerald metals for the purposes of forward sales from their Beta Vargas property. They subsequently announced later that they performed forward sales at $215 US. On 12/8/97 they announced the pouring of their first dore bar. In conclusion, forward sales were performed prior to production beginning.

Superiority of gold over currency. There is none IMO. They are relative to eachother and nothing more than a way of keeping score in either case. No different then owning horses was to my ancestors. Owning gold stocks is a better way to go than owning gold IMO. The % change is greater if one believes that gold will increase in the future but again I would not recommend IPM on that basis. I would recommend a major on the premise of increased gold value.

I am not a gold bug either but I am here in hopes/belief that gold will go up and high techs will go down and then I will switch to them and hopefully never leave them again for the rest of my days on this earth. So let it be said ....... so let it be done.
