RE: NINE's current position in the market If you look at all of the NEC ads you will see Diamond Viper in any of the systems that would be considered for home use/gamer. In those systems the NINE REV3D card is still an upgrade option. NINE's low end REALITY card is standard in NEC's increasingly popular budget systems. The next NINE product (which will be coming out this spring) will be more in tune with the needs of the gamer market as well as the continued great choice for the SOHO market. During the first week of February the company should announce how they will be able to finance this ramp-up. I have faith that their restructuring will put them in an entirely different position for '98 and going forward. Their technology if properly managed is worth more than 1-3/8 per share. For any of us to speculate on mergers and receiverships insnonsensical. This is not the first company to restructure. NINE has done 40-120 million in sales the last two years and their is a place for them in this GROWING FIELD. There is no doubt that an investment in NINE's stock is a high risk/ high reward endeavor. At this point a wait-and-see approach to their restructuring is probably prudent. However, if you can't handle the drop in the price then one should dump their shares into the hands of those individuals who are looking AHEAD not behind.
